Come Meet The Money Coach!

I want to extend a warm invitation to come meet me in person – along with a group of amazing women – at a special series of free (and fun) financial events taking place all across the country in the weeks and months ahead.

What is this special financial series?

It’s called Currency Conversations, a national initiative sponsored by Chase Bank and Essence in order to help 20,000 Black women in the U.S. reach their financial goals.

We’ve already hit Atlanta, Georgia and it was a complete blast!

Next stop: Oakland, California, this Saturday, April 27, 2019.

If you’re in the Bay area, I really hope you can make it. Feel free to bring a relative or friend with you as well: Millennials, GenXers, Baby Boomers … we’ll all be there.

Not in the Oakland area?

Here are other key dates on the calendar of events for Currency Conversations:

Washington D.C.: Saturday May 4, 2019
Detroit: Saturday, May 18, 2019
New York City: Saturday, June 8, 2019

Besides yours truly, you’ll meet a number of guest speakers, including Oakland’s own Saundra Davis, TV host Kela Walker and New York Times best-selling author Luvvie Ajayi. Each of us will share our own story – the good, the bad and the ugly – when it comes to finances, life, and lessons learned along the way.

Expect lots of laughter, some drinks and plenty of real talk. But this isn’t just a girls’ day out. We’re serious about helping you get your financial act together!

You’ll be able to create a vision board that represents your personal, financial or professional goals.

You’ll be able to get specific answers to your unique questions about saving money, managing credit and debt, paying off student loans, homeownership and more.

Above all, you’ll get connected to a community of like-minded people who want to not just have frank conversations about the challenges Black women face, but also share our stories to help every one of us achieve financial success.

If you’re inspired by the thought of being in the midst of positive, powerful and goal-oriented Black women, I encourage you to put Currency Conversations on your to-do list.

Again, these in-person meet-ups are entirely FREE. All you need to do is RSVP/sign up for an event, and show up. Oh, and you’ll probably want to tell a friend too!

You do want your sisters, Aunts, female cousins and colleagues, and your best gal pals to get their money together also, right?!

Finally, even if you’re not in one of the cities mentioned above, and can’t attend the in-person events, you can still be part of this movement by signing up today to take a savings pledge that will boost your personal finances in 2019.

The pledge is simple: Instead of paying everyone else and then trying to save what is “left” at the end of the month, flip the script and put yourself first.

Commit to save a set amount of money monthly before paying anyone or anything else. The amount doesn’t matter, but the habit does. Commit to YOU today!

Think of Currency Conversations as one step on your journey to financial freedom. We see you, we support you, and we want to help you along the way!

XO,

Lynnette
